Has anyone seen this english comedy series? I heard it was pretty good, but just wondering if anyone has seen it, and what they thought.

indeed I have.
i thought it was great! much better than most 'teen' comedy things. i hate to say it, but I can actually see LOADS of myself in those kids.
Do you put your balls in when you have sex?
Yeh.. can do.. some like it.. some don't..
it is fucking GOLD
16! This mum is still buying his trousers!
his, not this, sorry.
It was nominated at this year's British Comedy Awards in a strong field
Best New British TV Comedy of 2008
The Kevin Bishop Show (Objective for Channel 4)
No Heroics (Tiger Aspect for ITV2)
The Inbetweeners (Bwark for E4)
Strangely, it won
how about that. I haven't seen Kevin Bishop, so can't comment. I thought No Heroics was somewhat rubbish though. Not as bad as say, Hyperdrive, but up there.
well, since skins has now gone to shit...
cant wait for season 2 :)
They're making a feature film now wherein the lads go on holidays
second series firmly crossed the puerile line, to its detriment. there are some interesting ideas but mostly descended into an immaturity the first series staved off. 2 stars.
Margaret?
My broother in the UK reccommended it to me and while I did laugh a little at a couple of small clips it seemed rather LCD/school boy humour for my taste.
It is a bit teenager.
Pretty good but not as good as The Peep Show.
Need to get The Peep Show and Inbetweeners Boxset when I go there in Dec.
I love this show. Tuesdays on Go.
Regards,
Eddie Mc Guire.
Tuesday on GO????
The rollercoaster episode the other night was fun. Not a patch on Peep Show though.
Haha. the car.
'' but I can actually see LOADS of myself in those kids''
Wow!
It's on Ch 99 (Go). Tuesday's I think, repeated at about 2am the next day.
sorry i'm late, but this was POTD.
This is one of the best shows I've seen in a while. It's hilarious.
i like it lots. can only see parts of myself in those kids.

DAVID: And, Margaret, of course you are?
MARGARET: David, I have to tell you I - this film shows why Britain lost the empire. It is just - if this is a really popular television series in Britain, and it is - it’s enormously popular - obviously with gormless 14 year olds and everybody out there is going to be so offended if they like it but it’s so unwitty and these guys are so unprepossessing. I just - I thought I was on schoolies week with a bunch of morons.
DAVID: You don’t think they’re so unprepossessing they’re cool?
MARGARET: No.
DAVID: And they’ve gone beyond...
MARGARET: Well, maybe they’ve gone over...
DAVID: The other side, yes.
MARGARET: ...the prepossessing precipice and into some sort of cooldom but I doubt it. No, I just - there is - I didn’t find any wit. I didn’t - it’s all vaginas and penises and, oh, poo and vomit.
DAVID: Well, that’s what it...
MARGARET: Oh, look, honestly, I’m over that.
DAVID: All the basic stuff in other words.
MARGARET: Yes. No, I’m over that. I just...
DAVID: So did you laugh at all?
MARGARET: My mouth was open with astonishment.
DAVID: Ah ha.
MARGARET: I’m giving this one star really generously. I don’t know why. I think it’s for the Mediterranean.
DAVID: Well, I laughed a couple of times. I’m giving it two and half.
haha.
I saw it last night, after not seeing any previews. I liked it, but it's basically just American Pie with the Inbetweeners characters.
I doubt I'd watch it again, but it was worth my $15 to go see it.
Much more worth seeing in a big audience that's in the mood to see the characters and laugh at them one last time, than at home squinting at a laptop in the dark on yr own imo.
I caught this show by accident the other night.
Pretty full on
Then the kid says to me dad I wanna watch inbetweeners...
I said um..WTF? No.
Think I'll wait til it comes out on DVD. Got into the first series, kind of stumbled onto the show one night a couple of years back & was hooked into it by it's sheer brutality, but started to wear a bit thin in the 2nd series. Still had its moments, the episode where Simon shits his pants in his exam was gold! Puerile & gross but still farkin funny.
...where Will shat his pants sorry.
''These are full of electrolytes which, if they exist, are good for my brain. ''
this! Have been looking for fucking ages. Cant find one.
torrent might still be a little while off, it's got a UK dvd release date of december 12
I saw a normal looking car (nissan pulsar??) with a personalised number plate CLUNGE today. When the urban dictionary gets updated that might get a recall.
saw that speccy twat is now playing the role of a speccy twat in another british sit com. good for him!
The Inbetweeners {USA} trailer
Dear America, Why?
Ha! That clip has 70+ likes, 6000+ dislikes.
enjoyed watching the tv series purely for the reminder of what it was like in an english school. for a comedy it didn't make me laugh tho. and i hate the narrative device and simon's voice. so glad i don't live in england anymore.
Uh oh: http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/report-the-inbetweeners-cast-sign-up-for-movie-sequel/306892
