As there are only about 6-7 members at the moment we'll probably for the time just play little tournaments. It wouldn't be worth it with the rake to play cash games.

Trying to get it up to 20 members if we can. Just get some people in and play a mixed variety of games.

I really like Horse but some people might struggle. But mixing up the games is on the cards for sure.

Fairly cheap buy ins for starters I'd say. $5 a game that kind of thing.

It's pretty good for customising tournaments though. You can start with 20k stacks and have 20 minute blinds. I wouldn't do that as it would take forever but there are some good options.

So yeah NLHE, Omaha HI/Lo, Omaha, 5 cars stud and 7 card stud.

What are you looking for. I can play for a bit more than some of the others in the group.

i love me some mixed games, but yeh as you said, a lot of dudes don't like that, the other day a few mates were hanging at my place watching the footy and we ended up getting a 4 handed razz game going, was a lot of fun

We're just playing NL at the moment.

I want to play some horse tournaments. Every blind increase the game changes.

Or something like that. They're always fun.

We want to do maybe just one game a week and try get everyone on board for about $10. Make a decent prize pool 10 minute blinds and 3000 starting chips. So it will go for a couple of hours. Just maybe on a Thursday night or something.

although a couple of years ago i was quite a profitable player, used to grind properly had a working bank roll, paid myself out of bank roll, bought a bunch of guitars - but this was on full tilt

my stars account is mainly me fucking around when i get home...half the time i buy into small stakes sngs and then realise i'm too tired to play them properly... thinking about grinding again properly, like dedicating time and effort to it, keeping a spreadsheet of wins n losses and expenditures (ie taxis to and from casino and drinks at casino come out of bank roll etc) but i'm too busy with my real job and bands and whatnot

so a weekly $10 tourney would be perfect for me, just a bit of fun etc etc

came 2nd in a 27 runner sng, came 8th in a time tourney and then won the 2nd home game....all whilst watching Godfather 1 and 2 on blu ray and eating too much food and smoking too much
