I'm looking to get a poster framed too. Anyone have a Sydney reccomendation?
eastside when you come down and see me there is that poster framing place same side as dimmys.. pretty cheap.
Ikea for their Ribba frames is the way to go. They go up to large sizes, and I reckon they look quite noice.
eastside, i got mine done by a lady on sydney road. you need to be prepared to wait for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssss (like three months), but she's super cheap.
she's on the west side of the road, up near A1 et al.
my friend who's very particular about such things recommends:
Magic Picture Framing:
Winston Lee
(03) 9510 7036
154 Chapel St, Prahran 3181
if you wanna go southside.
thanks for the tips, someone throw some at goldfoot
Sydney?
Do Blue Dog frame? I could only find blockmounting and laminating info on the website.
I don't think so but there is a framing place right next door.
I hate that framing things can be so expensive.. i hate blank walls! Especially when we have we have about 10 awesome prints/posters that need framing.
Goldy, is that framing place next door to blue dog new or part of the art supplies store that used to be there? Cause i remember them being expennos.
continues whinge outside
Glebe Picture Frames in St Johns Road have always looked after me very well.
Oddly enough I was considering paying them a visit this afternoon.
NB Not necessarily cheap, but I guess if it is worth framing then it is probably worth doing well.

Right next door to Blue Dog is a proper framing place. I was in there a few years back with a friend who was getting stuff framed and i remember being shocked at how much it cost.
There's another place on Enmore Rd opposite the Enmore Theatre.
Block mounting thread, which might have some useful info.
I see I posted almost the same sentence about Glebe Picture Frames a year ago. I'm not sure if that is worryingly formulaic or pleasingly consistent.
Fuck framing stuff is expensive, I don't want to put blue tack on the back of my prints though...I just want something that doesn't look too tacky.
ralf just buy a cheap frame and i'll do it for you.
After i finish your roof.
so what choo saying is neither is going to happen?
for posters try this:
cheap, looks better than blue tacked posters and reusable. They are plastic and can be easily cut to size.

Ribba from Ikea, Actionralf.
