i bought this band's 7'' on a whim. i don't think i ever gone from hating the guts out of something to loving the shit out of it in the space of 2-3 minutes before. i have now lived a little bit more thanks to milk teddy.

Hellzapoppin  said about 3 years ago:

I should utterly detest this shit, but the launch won me over. Really most enjoyable.

You're blowing your cool, man!

Hellzapoppin  said about 3 years ago:

Before you know it switchy and I will be wearing matching t-shirts and cracking onto the same 14yr olds.

anok  said about 3 years ago:

amazing again at the tequilla mockingbirds' house show on saturday. just getting better and better and better all the time. once their tunes burrow into your memorybrain you're a goner! they haven't missed a beat since rachel left for berlin either. adaptable!

black wasp!  said about 3 years ago:

red menace  said about 3 years ago:

since rachel left for berlin

has she really gone to berlin??

don't say that!

anok  said about 3 years ago:

for studying. not hipstering.

red menace  said about 3 years ago:

She should come back right away. I miss the accordian

anok  said about 3 years ago:

you know you're into band when they have a fairly shambolic show and a so/so mix and you still feel absolutely thrilled to have seen them. partly cos there's just no other way to hear their stuff (7'' aside) and partly because they're the swellest of dudes, i guess. i wanna make all sorts of bold claims about 'em and their place in the ausjanglepopcontinuum, but i'll hold off cos it'd just be asking for trouble and before long some jerk would be in here hating and i'd get defensive. anyway, their tunes are timeless. suburban.

asbestos  said about 3 years ago:

I've seen this band twice in the last month and feel compelled to see them every time they play live. Can be a bit shambolic during songs and rambling in between songs but that's all part of the charm.

shaun  said about 2 years ago:

Anyone got a copy of the tape they want to sell me?

history  said about 2 years ago:

They were brilliant on Saturday night. An album is apparently not far away and judging from that performance it is going to be really really good.

Innocent Bystander  said about 1 year ago:

saw them recently. the singer came across as a real dick. probably the drugs

Sand In My Joints  said about 1 year ago:

Yeah, you should lay off the drugs.

Innocent Bystander  said about 1 year ago:

my drugs were fine

tugboat  said about 11 months ago:

Their live tape made it to a record store at Leeds. Saw it on the mailing list:
