Yeah it had Peter Helliar and that Dave Callahan I think. It always went way over time. He started on 10 in 2001 and when he started out some controversy about a comedian who made jokes about pedophilia (or something).

i liked his ch9 late night show. when a show's on that late, your standards and expectations are lowered. you're desperate for anything remotely entertaining. anything can get a laugh.

i love Letterman.

It's the best news that I have woken to in a long time. I really did leap out of bed with joy, although I must admit I haven't watched his show, or anything else on crap tv land, for quite some time.

Well, instead of Vizard, hopefully now Rove can at least produce a Micallef-lead nightly show akin to Colbert or Jon Stewart's shows. Though the problem with these ''variety'' / ''late-show'' shows here in Oz has always been the small talent pool and lack of well paid writers. Rove has a week to come up with the funny, and failed so much.

Rove is shit, and they can have him as long as it doesn't lead to the world thinking he's the best we have to offer. We have plenty of great entertainers; Rove is not one of them.
