The disclosures published by the electoral commission show donations by British American Tobacco Australia fell from $184,564 in the 2010-11 financial year to just $4700 in 2011-12. Donations by Philip Morris Limited dropped from $78,975 to $3080 in the same period.
These donations went to the Liberal and National parties or their various state divisions.
