made of wood, no plugs. you're welcome.
This thread reminds me of the Violent Femmes.
Ar haha. Thank you so much.
I have a wanky tendency to only play fender electrics, but assume my misguided brand loyalty is not appropriate when it comes to acoustic.
Someone should remind him that in this business, bad acoustics are an awful start.
You gonna do an unplugged set of your grunge hits?
Geddit? Bass?
Thought I'd make this thread even more useful.

I know. I still need one.
Thanks Godzilla. I'll have a trawl through those forums.
If you plan on plugging it in, avoid the Kramer Ferrington. The pickup sounds like shit.
Sorry stussyg. Completely unhelpful of me.
Cat endorsed!
Play him off, Acoustic Bass Cat!
Not at all. I expected a lot more unhelpfulness.
What sort is that, SPOD? Persian?
More importantly, what sort of guitar is that, SPOD?
I've got a shit acoustic bass that I'll sell you for $80.
What shit about it?
I might take it if Stussy don't.
don't get an acoustic bass. only worthwhile if you want to play a quiet coffee house. or mtv unplugged.
The action is pretty crap. There's nothing major wrong with it. It's just a cheap brand. It has an inbuilt mic.
You're up soon aren't you Phil. I could drop it off at GARY'S house or something so you could have a play with it and see what you think.
Just been actualy.
Hmmm.....
I can set it up for you Junkie.
I had an acoustic bass in the 90s a hohner. The neck/ string tension was too much for the body and neck came lose. Tried getting it fixed but it was a lost cause. I might get another one day to play on the couch. Maybe fretless for when the spirit of jazz getsa hold of me. Maybe an upright if I find a spare 2 grand.
here
Make sure you get a case or something with it, they're a shit to find. I bought an ex a monterey one once, was alright, shoulda kept it. can you get a semi acoustic and still have a half decent bass?
