The worst films ever made? Let's make a list!

Baron Von Blood  said about 2 years ago  or at  6:31PM on Friday, August 20 2010 in chat

Ok, i'm going to put it out there, i love crap cinema (i also love well crafted art cinema too, say yea), but Ed Woods 'The Bride and the Beast' is hands down, the worst film i've ever had the displeasure of seeing, hands down, the WORST!
It's basically made up of shitty stock footage inter cut with crap scenes taken from quite possible the worst screen play ever written.
Aside from Robot Monster and Plan 9 From Outer Space (Both of these are genius i have to say), can anyone beat this painful cinematic experience?

Battlefield Earth isn't just a bad film. It's the nadir of Western Culture.

all of the Matrixes
Dark Knight
Sunshine
Houseboat Horror
anything marketed as arthouse

best film:
Killer Klowns from Outer Space

alec m  said about 2 years ago:

I didn't read the first post..... I think the only movie I've seen that fits this category is Plan 9. It was hilarious for 20 min then depressing

djbollocks  said about 2 years ago:

Death in Brunswick is great.

I think the worst film I ever saw would have to be Deuce Bigalow European Gigolo. It was so bad I felt like killing myself after watching it.

Who's going to watch Dragonball Evolution on OneHD tonight?

Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Not just the worst film ever, but also the worst thing ever. I'm actually pretty sure that the director, editors and actors decided they wanted to make the worst film ever made, and they succeeded. I haven't read the book (or any of those Twilight books) but I'm also declaring it the worst book ever written.

Just saw this new film called In Time starring Justin Timberlake. This could be a future cult classic of the Ed Wood variety. Abysmal.

...check out this crash scene

Haha, that's amazing.

turkey_sandwich  said about 1 year ago:

Redneck Zombies is up there but i guess it's at least vaguely amusing in it's stupidity. Igor And The Lunatics absolutely stinks. Chasing Amy has to be just about the worst i've seen though.. probably neck and neck between those two.
i'd like to go back and watch Crash (the Cronenberg one), i remember it being dull garbage that was practically unwatchable. i suppose i may have a different view on it now (being twice as old).

nearly forgot Borat, i was a big fan of the character on the tv show but the movie.. awful. not funny, not good. worse than sitting through a full episode of the nrl footy show.

Why would a red-blooded Aussie male watch a Disney flick about Seppo kids playing some gay sport?

If Quantum of Solace isn't already on the list, it bloody well should be. If I could punch one film in the face, this would be it.
