I have a friend with a smallish room availble for $500pcm in Fairfield. Living with 2 girls and 1 guy in their 30's, in a friendly and communal-type household where the residents don't mind hanging out with each other a bit.
Suits someone who doesn't mind a bit of noise - they're all shift workers so sometimes jam during the day, sometimes late at night.
