bahahahahha.
My money spent: sex recieved ratio is unbalanced. How can I improve this?
Dear Happycow.
If you took me out on a date, where would we go and what would we do?
i don't want to speak for hc, but i bet it would involve burgers
Why do girls in my league think that they're better than me?
Why are there no chubby Asian girls?
Dear happycow,
Do you think I'm pretty? Have I got a chance with Ryan?
mmm. electricsound knows how to win me over.
Why am I so lonely?
Classy burgers.
I know who I like but I don't think she likes me because I don't like her band. How do I get her?
If it was a first date I'd probably take you to a beer garden. Relaxed environment, outdoors so I can smoke (if you've got a problem with that then I'm not interested in you) and plenty of alcohol makes those awkward first few dates much easier.
PERFECT MATCH
Trying to buy a girl's affections gives the impression that you have nothing else to offer as a person so are trying to compensate by spending money on them. You're doing it wrong.
I'm spending no money and getting no sex. What next?
Dating tips for those on a near zero budget?
I'm here to offer serious and objective dating advice TB, not to flatter chats fishing for complements. I'll let this one slide though - yes and no.
You're going to have to invest some money initially in the getting to know each other process. I still recommend alcohol as an ice breaker, in any case it's my preferred method as I can be quite shy and alcohol helps me lose inhibitions.
If you end up sleeping with them and think things could progress to more than a one night stand ask them if they'd like to go to breakfast the next morning. If they don't want to who cares, go hang out with your mates instead.
If you're a guy and you exchanged numbers don't contact them right away. As cliche as the three day rule is it exists for a reason. You don't want to come on too strong. Hold your cards close for a while.
Alternatively, if you're a girl, don't be afraid of stepping on the front foot. Girls don't do this enough and guys really appreciate it when you do.
If you can get past the couple of weeks barrier you can generally start doing cheaper things like hanging out at each other's houses and cooking for each other.
Top Tips for Cheap Drinks on First Few Dates:
Workers does $8 jugs Monday nights.
99 Problems do $2 pots Tuesday and $3 beers Wednesday night.
The Old Bar does $12 jugs every evening until 8.
Bar Etiquette does $10 jugs 5-9 every night of the week.
The Fox does $10 jugs of Blue Tongue all Sunday.
i don't recommend this. no offence hc.

the concept works either way.....
sounds like he wants a relationship and she doesn't. if i was him i'd abort ship. if she genuinely likes him she'll come find him again.
And I guess some people (some, but not all - and I see it as much in guys as I do in girls) are genuiely happier, or feel their life is more purposeful or something when they're in a relationship. But I wouldn't have thought it was an overwhelming majority? I'm always delighted to be single (unless it's fresh after a break-up and I'm heartbroken), I kinda don't get it.
God people are emotionally stupid.
maybe you should go tell your friend to go get their tarot cards read? i'm sure they'll have the answer.
Don't be stupid, that's just as pointless as asking advice from a bunch of randoms on the internet!
Honestly, no big deal, just thought it was an interesting discussion topic.
I think that might have been the point, (lmc's comment) Because of my indecisive nature, I often consult my personal deck of tarot cards..still indecisive though.
nah, lmc actually believes that..
I'm well aware of that. I'm just a bit befuddled by my inability to raise a discussion topic without people thinking that I'm desperately seeking answers for a situation that's tearing my soul apart, or some shit.
I'm not really the type to take advice anyhow. I like hearing other people's experiences, but when it comes down to human interaction I just don't think you can apply generalisations to romantic encounters/raltionships etc. That's what makes them so good and exciting - because every experience is unique. Every two people who are dating blend together in different ways.
raltionships = relationships
coz people on messandnoise take the piss. that's why we post here. so we can be sarcastic and dry and wry and pains in the arses. all the while hiding behind our avatar. another reason you don't want too many chats to know who you are.
Ha, yeah, I do tend to get irritated when people point out the obvious to me, thinking that I didn't get it the first time around - which is what I thought hsdauof was doing. One of my many flaws!
I'm deadly serious.
Shit, I better find another identity!
whatever works hey???
ask the universe and it will deliver. i asked the universe for acid for the weekend and acid is what it is delivering me!
Imc, are you on acid now?
Coz, well my flaw is that I often don't get it the first time round and sometimes I do, so someone pointing it out is often a welcome form of clarification. Sorry about that.
That wasn't the universe, that was a drug dealer.
It's all good, hsdauof :)
the universe is everywhere man. even inside drug dealers.
