As good a time as any to start a Bloods thread after the win last night. Goodes back for the Cats game is going to be a ripper.

Love the Swans.
I love the Swans too. I'm glad they won last night, but that fourth quarter nearly killed me.
I knew the Bombers would come back but didn't think it would be like that.
Our time at the top of the table was short lived. Bloody Pies!
I can't wait for the Cats game. It's the first of 3 home games in a row!
im going up for the Cats/Swannies game. First time the Cats have played at the SCG since the Bloody Nick Davis '05 semi final. huge game.
Nah Jimmy, we played there last year and won. Exorcised a few demons at that ground.
yeah sorry, i realized that after i posted. carry on.
we finally looked like a contender in the first half of the essendon game. next year could be good.....
I'd say the same thing but with how even the comp is this year and Goodes back soon, you never know.
Speaking of, the Geelong game should be a ripper.
fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
i don't know if i can take this any more
I had a nap after work and woke up at 3/4 time, fucksake. Exciting/heart attack inducing last quarter. Will watch a replay tomorrow.
Seems that some people thought Goodesy would be back to 100% straight away, which is ludicrous. But his injury could be a blessing. I reckon he could start peaking just before the finals.
+1
We're getting the results on the board. But it's so painful to watch!
top job swannies
After a lifetime of following South Melbourne/Sydney, I've grown accustomed to the Swans always giving me some kind of grief, even when they give joy. In the mid 80s they had a run of massive wins, but since then seem to prefer the smash/stop/catchup/stop/catchup ad infinitum method of winning games. Certainly keeps things interesting. I just wonder how fewer wrinkles I might have otherwise though... I died a thousand times at the 2005 Granny.
It's been great to see us win without Goodes though.
Just watched the replay. Goodesy feigned the hand pass but didn't move off the mark and it was play on. Enright feigns the kick and moves off the line and it's 50 against Richards. Carn umpy.
Trying to restrict Teddy get an all-oz nomination.
maggots.
on a side not loved the niggle between grundy and pods during the 1st half (?)
McVeigh signs on for another 3 years and if we win tonight we should be top of the table! Huzzah!
we are so winning the flag this year.
better sort out those last quarter fade-outs then..

Looks hot
That was a hard win. Harder than it should have been. Even if the ball was a like a cake of soap. Swannies need some sort of spark to really get them going.
Typical us. Armstrong needs to go back to reserves and bring Morton back for Everitt. I like the look of Rampe but Reid really needs to assert himself.
Even Adam Goodes is horrified by Mumford's new facial hair:
Hahahahaha
Lewis is back, McVeigh celebrates his 200th, Reid gets some form and Mummy's facial hair has gone. Good news all round.
mummy's disciplining for his big night out in Melbourne was being forced to shave off his facial hair
Those monsters!
This is awful.
Absolute rubbish.
Not that bad, things get interesting in five weeks.
Sydney could lose several in a row. They stunk last night.
They were disappointing but remember the last round last year when Geelong pumped us. A few weeks later......
Right us off at your peril. Might go watch the GF DVD now.
Haha, that's what I planned to do when I got home last night.
Agree that you've got to peak at the right time but jeez, we'd wanna beat Freo and Pies in the next 2 weeks. And Bombers after that...
Tippett would've been handy last nite. Hawks talls all over poor Mikey Pike.
He still did ok, especially in the first half. Reid just isn't up to it at the moment.
Pikey: great pair of hands, shit pair of feet
So frustrating. On this form Collingwood will roll us next week.
Agreed. 27 points up with 17 to play. Maybe Reid's mark at the end saved him from being dropped for next week?
Surprised they subbed off Morton and not Walsh, he did bugger all.
this season like the last....
