two weeks too late
Didn't that dude used to lecture at Sydney Uni? Or am I getting confused?
I had him for a sound design course at cofa, not sure if he's still there.
He was a walking encyclopaedia on protools.
As was Gene Pitney when I met him.
Simon used to be a in a post-punk synth band in Sydney during the 80s, called 'Bring Phillip'. They put out two 12''s, and had tracks on the epochal 'Beyond the Southern Cross' double LP compilation (along with The Triffids, Tactics, Whirlywirld, The Clean, Severed Heads, and Sunday Painters).
An interesting chap.
