Official launch of The Bridge Bandroom!
Courtney Barnett + Earthworm
The Bridge is very proud to announce the official launch of our brand new bandroom featuring Courtney Barnett and Earthworm. Barnett is currently touring in support of her album of “slacker garage pop” tunes. The first single (‘Lance Jnr’) from Barnett’s album ‘I Have a Friend Called Emily Ferris’ has recently been picked up for high rotation on Triple J. Featuring Brent DeBoer of the legendary Dandy Warhols on drums, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Barnett will be ably supported by the shoe gaze stylings of Castlemaine’s Earthworm.
8.30pm $10
Saturday 7th July
The Toot Toot Toots
After recently shooting their a film clip for the track ‘Fools Gold’ in the bush just outside Castlemaine, the Toot Toot Toots return to play their first Castlemaine show. Their latest album ‘Outlaws’ has been described as “spaghetti western rock opera, based on the Australian gold rush”, so who could be more appropriate for The Bridge’s first Saturday night show?
8.30pm Free!
