Ricky Maymi is a founding member of one of the world’s most notorious bands, San Francisco’s psychedelic warlocks the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Shayne Carter was the frontman for arguably New Zealand’s greatest ever band, Straitjacket Fits, as well as performing in Dimmer and The Adults with Jon Toogood of Shihad. JP Shilo is revered for his work with the seminal instrumental outfit Hungry Ghosts, as well as his work recording and playing with the late Rowland S Howard. Sacha Lucas is frontman for the Morning After Girls, one of Australia’s most successful musical exports; who have toured with the likes of the Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Keys, the Dandy Warhols and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Together the four have formed BLISSHAMMER, a four guitar sonic assault for a one off, never to be repeated gig in one of Melbourne’s most intimate venues, The Resurrection.
