*Look Around You is a BBC television comedy series devised and written by Robert Popper and Peter Serafinowicz, and, in the first series only, narrated by Nigel Lambert. The first series of eight 10-minute shorts was shown in 2002, and the second series of six 30-minute episodes in 2005.
The first series was broadcast on BBC America in early 2005, with a slightly edited version of the second series airing in March 2006. The first series of Look Around You was nominated for a BAFTA award in 2003.
The episodes were a satire/homage of 1970s and early 1980s educational videos and schools programmes, with a different scientific subject being discussed in each episode, or "modules" as they are referred to in the series.* - wikipedia
maths and water best for sure i reckon...
maths is brilliant just for the kittens....
the maths one was ok
stop fighting now
It didn't really work when they expanded it to a 30 minute format.
Then again, it was spoofing a different era.
The first series was '70's, and the later one was 1980's.
Did Peter Serafinowicz's series World Of Pub make it to Australian TV? Originally a radio series, it featured Kevin Eldon[Big Train, Jam, Fist Of Fun, Hyperdrive] and Phil Cornwell [Stella Street, Dead Ringers]
Peter Serafinowicz was also a regular in Simon Nye's Hardware [not to be confused with the low-budget horror film of the same name]
hilarious!!!

It's fucking genius!
I picked up the first series for five pounds before I left the UK a couple of years ago. Bargain.

Tomorrow is the last day of the school term, and I'm currently making a copy of series 1 so my partner, who is a science/physics teacher can play some for his students in their slacking off classes.
I really hope they get it!
he'd better, prerecorded, or else I'll snob him on the tram
ohh. them the kids. THEY'd better

blants
Awesome shit!
unfortunately he died due to complications resulting from a bee sting to his anus.
my mrs showed it to some idiot friends in japan and the only thing they could say was 'mmmm, i LOVE casserole!'.
in other news, I went to a british comedy theme party and went as synthesiser patel.. i took a small casio keyboard with me and lots of people said they were going to steal it. which is a problem because they are so expensive and people are always trying to steal them.
there's something so utterly delightful and soothing about the ridiculousness of the first series..
watched the first series last night and blew a foofoo valve.
deliciously good.
MEDIBOT!
Peter Serafinowicz did all the music for this show, too. I am beginning to think he may be some kind of entertainment genius.
Saw a few eps of this today- fucking good!
he is! i have the biggest man crush ever.
Bless you, ants.
Thants.
It's deloinkful!
yo anok – i wanna see this show again!
