Warming up the winter months with a sack of fresh beats, it’s Movement at Beach Road Bondi!
Stretching out this June and July to include an even more diverse music policy, Movement is taking in the best of a bunch of BPMs, from the low slung Hip Hop Beats of Stones Throw’s Quakers by way of Katalyst DJ set, to the hard hitting rhymes of Sky High, to the party antics of Brisbane’s Antiheroes and beyond. It’s a night of ‘almost anything goes’ and in the past we’ve had everything from the one man band of Guerre (Australia’s answer to Jai Paul) to the indie-disco-yacht-rock of Melbourne’s The Vaudeville Smash, to give you a bit of an idea of the breadth of talent that comes through each and every Friday.
You’ll already be familiar with the duo that makes up wordlife. Although only a year old, DJs Adam Bozetto and Kato have a wealth of experience behind the in clubs and on the decks and have quickly honed their production chops to become a force to be reckoned with. Already making waves with their ''Birth, Punk, Rap, House, Life'' EP on Bang Gang 12 inches cracking the top 50 indie dance nu disco chart on beatport and garnering support from the likes of A-Trak, Mickey Moonlight, Teki Latex and more. wordlife have also added their remix touch to the likes of The Bumblebeez, Van She, Magik Johnson, Teki Latex and Funkin' Matt, Heavyfeet and Anna Lunoe & Them Jeans.
