Ahead of their main-stage performance at Splendour In The Grass this weekend, New Zealand’s Shihad played a secret warm-up show as “The Electric Generals” at The Northcote Social Club last night (July 24). The Melbourne-based band will embark on a national tour in September in support of a 38-song career retrospective. Photos by ROBERT CARBONE.
thank god that barrier was there
haha yes
I would love to THANK the band and management for providing me with a pit barrier. I must have been at the Northcote Social Club 100's of times and I have NEVER seen one there before. Great gig and top band! Jon Toogood is such a charismatic front man! ㋡
when are Sunk Loto going to reform?
Setlist on official letterhead. Good to see.
LOL
Or ''The Electric Generals''. One or the other.
first pic reminds me of:
Photo 2. GET IT RIGHT!
Fuck yeah 'Factory'!
They write the chords next to the songs, too. It's hard to remember guitar chords sometimes, but if I see ''Pacifier C'', I know I have to play a C in that song. Genius.
^^ or it could be tunings for their guitar tech...
Personally, i think they're an incredible live band and the General Electric was an awesome album. Nice dudes too.
