Panel In Sydney

Lethargic pop songsmiths Panel of Judges will launch their new disc, Bad Vibrations, at Sydney's Hopetoun Hotel on January 16.

Another quality release from Mistletone, Bad Vibrations was recently described by Mess+Noise as "a band at the height of their songwriting powers, confident about the direction they have been heading in and reaping the rewards of their persistence".

Perennials of the Melbourne indie scene since the late 1990s, Panel of Judges have released two acclaimed albums, two EPs and toured much of the world (UK, Europe, Japan and New Zealand). Individual members have also been active in various other Melbourne musical happenings including Hi God People, Beaches, Jaguar Is Jaguar, Golden Lifestyle Band and Sleepy Township.

Bad Vibrations was recorded live in the studio with producer Jack Farley (Beaches, Spider Vomit) and guests including Julian Patterson (Kes Band), Jarrod Quarrell (St Helens), Justin K Fuller (Mum Smokes) and Antonia Sellbach (Love of Diagrams).
