Hard to believe, my friends, but the last time Ground Components played a show – in Japan with Mach Pelican in 2007 – George Bush was leader of the free world, Destra stock was worth something and the only crunch was in your cereal.
After the release of their debut LP An Eye For A Brow, A Tooth For A Pick and a corresponding tour, the band rightly took some time off. But there are rumours swirling that the Melbourne quartet are rehearsing for a new album and possible tour.
In completely unrelated news though, “The Calloways” will play their first show in more than a year at Melbourne’s The Birmingham Hotel on February 27. Bookings are strongly encouraged for this little-known, but hotly anticipated four-piece.
