Crow Reveal Album Details

Related: Crow.
In a recent interview with M+N, Crow’s Peter Fenton acknowledged that a new album was on the horizons and that the band had reached a “gentleman’s agreement” with a medium-sized label for its release.
We can now reveal that the album is called Arcane, and it will be out through Sydney label Nonzero (home to Bluebottle Kiss) in autumn this year.
Mixed by Midnight Oil’s Jim Moginie at Oceanic Studios in Brookvale, NSW, the album is the first by Crow’s original line-up – Peter Fenton (vocals/guitar), Jim Woff (bass), Peter Archer (vocals/guitar) and John Fenton (drums) – since 1993’s Steve Albini-produced My Kind of Pain. You can hear an exclusive snippet of it, in the form of first single ‘A Ghost At The Crossroad’, by clicking here.
Crow will be performing two rare shows in Melbourne this weekend: at The Esplanade Hotel’s Gershwin Room on Friday (February 19) with Dave McCormack and The Polaroids, Grace Before Meals and Sailors & Swine, and on Saturday at The Applecore Backyard Festival in Thornbury.

Interesting to see they played with Dave McCormack . . . saw Crow & Custard on a Ra labelmates' tour on the Gold Coast many moons ago and thought there would be no common ground between them at all - but it worked really well as a double bill.
Dave and Pete had a band, Silver Machine, together about two years back.
Well well well. Thanks for that info. Looking forward to getting hold of the new record.
