Watch: MJs Channel Firekites In New Clip

News posted Monday, October 25 2010 at 05:00 PM.
Related: Midnight Juggernauts.

Directors Lucinda Schreiber and Beatrice Pegard used over 2000 pieces of paper to create the video for the latest Midnight Juggernauts single ‘Lara Vs The Savage Pack’. If that sounds familiar, maybe you’ve seen the Kanye West-endorsed video for the Firekites’ ‘Autumn Story’, which took six months to assemble from 1910 individual chalk drawings. Schreiber must be a glutton for artistic punishment – she co-directed that clip as well.

'Lara Vs The Savage Pack' is lifted from the band’s second album, The Crystal Axis. The MJs are currently making their way through the first leg of their Europe/UK/South America/North America tour, which should see them through until the end of the year. Photo diary from their last trip here.

Best song off the album. It sounds a bit like Kick-era INXS

yes it sounds nice, if I had one criticism it would be the hand claps at the start, but yes it is a nice song, sounds abit like some phoenix maybe

Both great clips, not enough of 'em around these days. A good video certainly does help make a song more memorable.
