Related: Custard.
Custard will come out of semi-retirement once again to perform at a flood benefit gig in their native Brisbane.
Despite being in fine form at the recent Meredith Music Festival, the ’90s indie-pop stalwarts have only made a handful of appearances (and by "handful" we mean “two”) since reforming for the Q150 Proclamation Day concert in late 2009. They’re part of a trio of heritage acts, also including Regurgitator and Screamfeeder, performing at the Float On flood relief benefit at The Hi-Fi in Brisbane on February 6.
Presented by Much-Bravado, the gig will raise funds for the Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal, a Queensland Government initiative to help those affected by the recent disaster. Other acts performing include Kate Miller-Heidke, Hungry Kids of Hungary, Gentle Ben & His Sensitive Side and Little Scout.
Tickets: $35 on sale via The Hi-Fi’s website.

is it possible to donate money for custard to stay in retirement?
custard to play a full set of powderfinger covers?
Custard reform. Haven't the queenslanders suffered enough?
Ahhh, so this is why I couldn't find my old post. Seriously, you gotta think up something different than deleting threads to create official threads. Lame.
To repeat myself… OFFICIALLY…
''Dude! Nice lineup.''
Could simultaneously do this gig in each state - with ''tribute'' bands - and no one would tell the difference.
Cancelled?
thought they added a second night?
Second night has no Custard though.
Bigdaddykane, what have you heard?
I heard Custard cancelled on that other thread, but maybe I didn't read it proper like.
There are now two shows, Custard are playing the first one but not the second. They haven't cancelled.
Ahh. Sorry.
Custard last night were amazing, even better than the Queensland birthday gig a year ago.
