Touring News: Alpine, 78 Saab, Last Dinosaurs, Papa Vs Pretty

– Hotly tipped Melbourne six-piece Alpine – a band which we described as evoking the “daydream-y distance of Blonde Redhead and Warpaint” – will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide this month as part of their first headline tour. The band, which recently signed to Ivy League, will officially launch their Zurich EP before embarking on a national tour with Sparkadia and Operator Please. To commemorate the tour, Alpine are giving away a remix of their track ‘Heartlove’ by former tour buddies, Sydney duo Fishing. You can grab it here for free. Guests on the tour include Boy in a Box (Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide), Fearless Vampire Killers (Sydney only) and Buchanan (Melbourne only).

he'll jump the fence, dive into the river and drink the water from his shoe, and it will be a tour highlight.
