Touring News: Mother And Son, Die! Die! Die!, Heirs

– Wollongong-based duo Mother and Son have announced a run of shows to support the release of their debut self-titled album. The “blues tinged garage rock” act will play shows up the east-coast, as well as dates in New Zealand for the first time. Mother and Son is out now through Impedance Records, with a vinyl version of the album available in the coming weeks. The band plans to tour Europe in October.

– It’s been little more than a few months since they last graced our shores, but New Zealand’s Die! Die! Die! are set to return to Australia this month. The band will play six east-coast dates all up, including a stint at Ric’s Big Backyard Festival in Brisbane. They promise “old songs, new songs and old new songs”, presumably from last year’s Form. The tour precedes dates in Europe, Japan and China.

– Six months after its release, Melbourne’s Heirs take their second album Fowl on the road. The band will play three shows supporting Laura in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, followed by a headline show of their own in Perth. The tour kicks off tonight (March 4) in Adelaide with Laura and Slight of Build.
