– The original 1994 line-up of Tumbleweed will perform in Perth, Adelaide and Tasmania for the first time in more than a decade as part of a national tour in May/June. The tour, in support of 2010 reissue The Waterfront Years, will also include a support for Kyuss in Sydney and Melbourne shows at the Corner Hotel with The Meanies and at the Community Cup in Elsternwick Park. Out now through Aztec Music, The Waterfront Years includes the singles ‘Captain’s Log’, ‘Stoned’, ‘Acid Rain’ and ‘Daddy Longlegs’, plus assorted rarities and liner notes by M+N contributor Kate Hennessy, who penned the “Icons” feature on the band.

– Melbourne outfit Teeth & Tongue – the musical project of Jess Cornelius, together with long-time collaborator Marc Regueiro-Mckelvie (guitar) and Damian Sullivan (bass) – will launch their second album Tambourine in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this June. The follow-up to Teeth & Tongue's 2008 debut Monobasic, Tambourine was recorded with Simon Grounds (Kes Band, Laura Jean, Bird Blobs). It’s out now via Dot Dash/Remote Control.

– To celebrate the launch of his first “fully self-penned album”, Mick Harvey will play shows in Bulli, Sydney and Melbourne in May. Out through Mute on May 2, Sketches From The Book Of The Dead was recorded and mixed with David McCluney at Atlantis Sound in Port Melbourne with additional recording at Harvey's own Grace Lane music room. It features special guests Rosie Westbrook (double bass), JP Shilo (accordion, violin) and Xanthe Waite (backing vocals).
