Finn Brothers Tribute Shows

Two Finn brothers tribute albums will be re-imagined live on stage as part of the “They Will Have Their Way” tour in November.

The tour follows the success of 2005’s She Will Have Her Way – a collection of Finn covers by female artists – and its 2010 male companion album He Will Have His Way. The tour will feature performances by She Will Have Her Way’s Sarah Blasko, Clare Bowditch, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby; and He Will Have His Way’s Paul Dempsey, Alexander Gow (Oh Mercy) and Lior.

Ex-EMI label boss and current Cold Chisel manager John O'Donnell – the creative forced behind the albums – is executive producer of the tour. "It is important that the concerts have a strong and unique voice that complements and yet stands alone from the albums,” he said. “It is a testament to the genius of Tim and Neil Finn that such an amazing collection of artists has agreed to be part of this tour.”

Tickets on sale next Thursday (July 14).

It's not a tribute unless you bring the Balbi

Everyone looks so enthused in that photo... Seems strange that they needed Tony Mott to take such an uninspired shot.

if Balbi is out, at least get Danny Marx Young.
