Watch: My Disco’s First Ever Clip

News posted Tuesday, January 24 2012 at 10:00 AM.
Related: My Disco.

Whether out of cultural protest, insufficient coin or sheer indifference, Melbourne’s My Disco have never released a single clip – until now. ‘Turn’, which features ballet dancer Erinn Arnel, premiered on Pitchfork.tv overnight. The clip was directed by Stephanie Bailly and David Guest, with lighting by audio-visual artist Robin Fox, who’s become quite a popular figure in Melbourne’s visual arts scene.

‘Turn’ is lifted from My Disco’s third album, Little Joy, which came out locally in late-2010. A tour announcement is expected soon.

Robin Fox was fantastic at MONA FOMA the other week. Not only with his light show, but mixing the Pierre Henry performance too through 11 separate speaker channels
