Music Premiere: The Bamboos Feat. Tim Rogers

For the first single from their forthcoming album Medicine Man, The Bamboos have teamed up with none other than Tim Rogers (not Jack Ladder) for a sexy rock-soul number called ‘I Got Burned’. Like ‘Trigger Finger’ from You Am I’s self-titled 2010 album, the track features Rogers’ smooth falsetto and a riff that sounds like a lost Sticky Fingers outtake.
‘I Got Burned’ will be out digitally tomorrow, with Medicine Man slated for a mid-year release. It’ll come accompanied by a video directed by Kess Broekman-Dattner (Clare Bowditch, Pez), starring Rogers and Bamboos bandleader and songwriter Lance Ferguson.

That's a killer track. The Bamboos have really developed a niche for themselves and if they keep doing interesting collaborations, I can't see them going anywhere any time soon. And Tim's vocals are sublime too.
