– Sydney’s Charge Group will launch their self-titled second album across the country in June. Out through Microphone & Loudspeaker, it was described by M+N as “a sensitive, slow-burn record that’s much more about sighing open spaces than tight, fast-paced confines”. The announcement coincides with the clip for ‘Broken Sunlight’, which was shot in New York City and Sydney with “their community of oddball artist friends”. It’s the follow-up to the Brendan Cowell-directed clip for ‘Run’.

In a recent interview with M+N, singer Ben King said it showcased a more expansive side to the band: “It’s definitely got four-to-the-floor moments, but it’s a lot more atmospheric.” Tickets available on the door.
