Muscles Briefly Teases His ‘Manhood’

Muscles has dropped what his label calls “a jaw-dropping, body-rocking, heart-stopping” mixtape to tease his first album in five years. It’s a quickie by mixtape standards, though: this testament to Muscles’ Manhood lasts just 14 minutes. While its advertised effects on one’s anatomy are questionable, this is for certain: it is in fact free.

Road to Manhood leans heavily on the new album, blending brief tastes of it with equally short snippets of songs that influenced it – from Catcall’s ‘Satellites’ to Die Antwoord’s ‘I Fink You Freaky’ to the late Harry Nilsson’s ‘Coconut’. Also included is Adalita’s ‘Hot Air’, marking a sort of reunion for the two (pictured above) after touring together with the Nick Cave tribute Straight to You last year.

Manhood is out next Friday (June 15). Muscles kicks off his launch tour the following night in Melbourne.

Never heard of The Bottom's End, but google tells me it's actually The Bottom End - looks like a pretty awesome place

By which I snarkily meant ''bad web design''- Shouldn't judge it on that though, as they have Poof Doof there, which actually does sound awesome.
