The unofficial summer anthem of 2011, Dick Diver’s ‘Head Back’, has been given some long overdue audio-visual treatment courtesy of Mel Baldwin, who’s created videos for Super Wild Horses and The UV Race.
Sadly, the clip doesn’t feature any Kerri-Anne Kennerley cameos, or daytrips to Gumbuya Park and Geelong, just the band members mucking around at home.
In other Dick Diver news, the Melbourne four-piece will play a rare headline show at The Toff on August 23. They’re also taking part in the second instalment of the “Key of Sea” project, which pairs local artists with refugee musicians. It’s due out late this year.
‘Head Back’ is taken from last year’s debut New Start Again, which came in at #3 in our annual Critics Poll.
