Tame Impala Return To Meredith

The last time Tame Impala played Meredith, it was an 11am slot four years ago, in a weekend consumed by “unrelenting downpour”. Their billing should be slightly higher this year. The global-smash Perth band – whose second album came out last Friday – top the list of Australian acts completing the line-up for Meredith Twenty-Two (Dec. 7-9) and join their previously announced accomplices Pond.
The others range from classic ’90s techno duo Itch-E And Scratch-E and howling Geelong garagers The Murlocs to “future soul” outfit Hiatus Kaiyote and the deservedly in-demand Boomgates.
Tickets sold out in record time, even without Tame Impala in the mix, but the ballot is open for Meredith sister festival Golden Plains, Cat Power and all. Full Meredith line-up below, just because.

I'm so angry that I'm not going to this. The lineup is so good. I've only ever done Golden Plains but I should have made an exception.
