Key notes: Second album from Melbourne’s Leigh Hannah, who records as The Townhouses and has remixed Geoffrey O'Connor, Alpine, Fishing and Guerre. Reflects Hannah’s “obsession with ethnomusicology,” with influences ranging from Tropicalia to Gamelan to African music. Includes slinky lead single ‘Talk’, featuring Italian musician Giorgio Tuma, and collaborations with Guerre, Wintercoats, Rainbow Chan and Felix Weatherbourne. Mixed by Nick Huggins (Oscar + Martin, Otouto). Follows a recent European tour as well as Australian support slots with School of Seven Bells, Toro Y Moi, Sun Araw and Pantha Du Prince. Will also be available as a name-your-price Bandcamp download.
