What: Into Spinning Lights by Sleep Decade.

When: November 8 through Flightless.

Key notes: Debut album from moody Melbourne/Geelong quartet. Recorded at Pocket Full of Stones with producer Nick Huggins (Kid Sam, Oscar + Martin). Includes the previous single ‘Bicycle’ and the romantic-minded current single ‘Mexico’, with a forthcoming clip directed by Dylan Wiehahn (Love Migrate, Mosman Alder, Seagull). Also includes the stripped-back ‘Spilt Ink’ and “sweeping, dynamic crescendos” of ‘Colour’. From the presser: “Combining ethereal pop, shoegaze and ‘post-surf bliss’, Sleep Decade use rich guitar textures, simple bass motifs and delicate vocals.”
