'Send Them Away' reminds me of this:

Maybe it's the timbre of the voices.

I like this record although I am still hoping they will record, mix and master an album with ''hi-fidelity'' personnel.

grey.k - I'd guess that photo is from the early to mid 90s at the latest.

That was a really good read. Could have only been better had Heazelwood joined the conversation and added his two cents. He was living in Dunedin around the time ADM was recorded/released. Holy shit, Snapper was a heavy band at that time.

He told me Peter didn’t have a phone, and the best way to get in touch would be to drop in. ...Chris knocked on the front door. No answer. Knocked again, louder. Still no answer. “He must be asleep,” Chris said. “I’ll go around the side and wake him.”

That description really made me feel nostalgic.

I got tricked the other day, too. It's still there. I think the shopfront is obscured by an awning or some such.

The Project

If it was a pre-record than that is just ridiculous.

The Project

Considering he hasn't played in a punk band since the '70s, does anyone expect him to be relevant to punk?

What punk band was he ever in? lolzzzzzzzz

The Project may have 'bitten off more than they could chew' but, you know, dude's nearly 60 - no need to keep hamming up that 40 year old character.

Monday Night Mass

GREAT NIGHT!

Only downfalls were the band room bar not being open (and front bar terribly understaffed) and idiots up the front barreling into each other during Boomgates like it was Soundwave or some shit.

Yeah, no shit. I left at that point.

iPhone

This is how I did it. It's about unlocking a Telstra iphone but the process must be the same with each telco:

''Here is the article on how to unlock your iphone and the great news is that it's FREE :smileyhappy: this is one way that Telstra is changing.

link: http://exchange.telstra.com.au/2010/10/15/telstra-removes-unlock-fee-for-apple-iphone-for-jet-settin...

You will need your mobile, iPhone serial and IMEI numbers handy, then call +61 1800 474 663, and tell them you want to unlock your phone.

You will also need the most up to date itunes software on your computer for the unlocking process. After you call Telstra and unlock your Iphone you will need to connect it to Itunes it will promt you to finish the unlocking processes. you may need to restore the phone or check for updates while you have a non Telstra SIM in the phone for itunes to promot you to unlock the phone.''
