The singles off Nu Clear Sounds (Jesus Says, Numbskull, Wild Surf) are quite good but the album is a bit patchy.

I totally agree that there are some good songs on those albums, but I reckon there is also a high proportion of junk. In comparison their first five records (particularly the first 3) are killer.

Harsh. Animal Boy, Too Tough to Die, Pleasant Dreams have all got good tracks on 'em. Even Subterranean Jungle isn't too bad really.
