I got the last Relationship of Command a Polyester but couldn't find the Hold Steady 7'' anywhere. Dropped by Thornbury Records about an hour after they'd opened and their RSD exclusives rack looked like a bomb had hit it. Their $15 bargain bin had some gold though.

I'm new to this job seeking thing and I need help!

I was made redundant by my work late last year after 7 years with the company. I've been looking for work since November, but my industry (jounalism/comms/media) is completely fucked at the moment.

I've got an interview tomorrow for a job which I found out yesterday pays $14k less than my last job (which was nowhere near what I'd call well paid). Doing the math, living off this new salary wouldn't be easy. For what it's worth, the actual role sounds ok but I feel I'd be selling myself short accepting such a paycut when the other roles I'm applying for offer similar or close to the same salary as my last gig.

So.. If I get offered the position, do I swallow my pride and accept the paycut and lifestyle changes it will bring? Or do I hold out for something better which might be a week or a year away?

Help me, oh wise M&N.
