In nearly 40 years, I've never left a game before the last quarter until yesterday. There was literally nothing to cheer about for the whole game. Very depressing indeed, and you could feel it all over the place.

Loscil - Intervalo (on white vinyl).

Probably the best Elizaband show yet. The band featured 3/5ths of the last galight lineup, plus Andy Pap on bass, who has mad skills.

Re: the small turn out. I thought the promo for this was a bit slack. There was a cart on RRR for the toff for weeks, with this gig as 'coming up'. No dates seemed to be ever advertised. I only found out two days prior, and by then had other arrangements for the night. A shame, as i'm quite a D&N, and G500 fan.

Ok. Taking both kids to the game against WC this weekend. Let's hope it doesn't end in tears. The shit i had to go through in the early 80s at school...it's difficult to potentially inflict that on my kids.

It might have been in Beat or Inpress back in the day...or even in the old Punter's Club ''Form Guide''. I'd have to go searching, but I definately remember Jim being a driving force in the studio, as Chan didn't have the confidence to push her ideas.

Interesting. I remember reading an interview with Jim White on the same recording session where he was having to push Matt pretty hard to accept Chan's ideas, and the whole process was fairly difficult for them all. Either way, the record came out a masterpiec.
