i try and shoplift one small item every grocery shop. i bring in a green coles bag which has my wallet and stuff in, wear it on my shoulder, fill it up with my groceries as i go round, then take all the groceries out i want to pay for at the counter, and depending on the load, putting the groceries back in after theyve been scanned. nice way to save 5-10 dollars a shop,

fremantle is so full of culture and devoid of culture at the same time, its quite interesting

so ive been living in fremantle for about 4 months or so now.

its pretty nice. perth cbd is pretty boring, but i havent been out to mt lawley/west leederville yet, where i hear there is some good stuff.

yeah drivers arent great, nobody indicates in perth for some reason.

experimental music is generally not conceptual in the way that art is - a 8 minute drone is generally not a deconstruction of the feminine body in the 21st century but is simply something that sounded cool to the artist. there is nothing to 'get'. if you dont like it, who cares? some people like yellow swans, some people like beyonce, some people like both. its when people start putting value judgements on what sort of music is good and bad, and start saying experimental music is somehow more meaningful or important or place a value on knowledge of experimental music that everything turns to shit.
