Couldn't find a general Dave Chappelle thread but it appears he's back and playing this rather excellent looking comedy festival: Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival

Thinking I might try and pop over for one of the shows as that really is a rather excellent list of funny people.

Wouldn't mind having a better version of the JJJ Live At the Wireless set (just have it on tape from back in the day) but otherwise would agree with the general consensus. As someone who got all the singles and bonus discs back in the day there's not much there I don't have.

As far as I know the vinyl is main albums only and no download codes but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

Didn't know these guys were still going. Must have seen them close to a dozen times back in the day and never put on a dud show. So good!

I'm kinda screwed up on the timeframes myself but I did hope that the ''purple wedding'' would happen this season leaving next season to focus on the stuff with Tyrion and the larger role of the Tyrells. I'm guessing that's not going to be the case though... assume they'll end with the shit going down at The Wall as that seems to be the only suitably dramatic way to end things.

New album is streaming via Pitchfork. Starts off a bit week but hits its stride about halfway through. No immediate classics but I'm liking what I'm hearing.

Benteke is still unproven in my eyes. He's 22 and has only had one season in the EPL. He might be the next superstar but he also might be a flash in the pan. I'd rather a proven solution than another young risk... we have enough of those already!

No way can you blame Hazard and Mata on Chelsea! Arsene and Co stuffed both of those up themselves. For Mata he refused to pay the extra couple of million to automatically trigger his release clause which Chelsea did. Hazard was two seasons of waiting to see if his price came down only to have Chelsea meet the valuation. Both great cases of where Arsenal's tightfistedness in the transfer market has cost us great players.

Latest rumour for Arsenal is that Benteke wants in from Villa. Not sure how I feel about that. He was great this season but is he really what we need in terms of a striker. I guess I had someone flashier in mind.

If last year was anything to go by you shouldn't have much trouble... quality control may be an issue but quantity shouldn't.

Man, just looked at the schedule and wished I hadn't. So gutted I can't go this year having been to the last 4. Normally there's a day with a bit of a lull in bands I want to see but this year the spread is pretty even over the three days.
