Fidelity Wars just ahead of We Love The City for me right now - either would be a good starter. First half of Fidelity Wars is absolute gold though!

Any fans?? Have been getting back into The Fidelity Wars in a big way - it's a great album, Darren Hayman is a really great lyricist, even if his voice grates a bit after a while. We Love The City is a great album too.

Also, some of his recent solo stuff is excellent too - The Violence from last year and Essex Arms have some fantastic songwriting on them. Can possibly be a bit too prolific at times though, with some dodgy quality control...

Anyhow, quite an overlooked British band/songwriter I reckon...
