The renegade room was were it was at for me. Next time I'm putting my tent in some shade, the sun was a killer. The corn was awesome, the cafeteria food seemed to have gone up a bit in price but it was still decent value compared to standard festival fare (or spending valuable band seeing time in the kitchen).

I think it was a very well set up and run festival, any kinks from the previous year at that location seemed to have been ironed out. I had an awesome time.

If i could say anything, I'd like to see more indie rock type bands, but that's a personal taste thing, not a dis.

When I told some one today that I was going to camp a low hum in a few weeks, they were all 'oh at TINA a few years back I was told that's the festival that makes bands pay $200 to apply to get on the bill'.... What is with this pay to play rumor?

I can understand the not being on the bill, coming alone and signing up to play on a renegade stage is going to cost a band to enter and camp, that's fair enough.

I'm looking to get a sim card while over there so I can use the net/iphone

any recommendations?
