OSCL Presents: BAIN WOLFKIND HEIRS MILES BROWN (The Night Terrors) + DJ KATE FOX (Requiem)

JUNE 9 at THE TOFF IN TOWN

Fresh from recent successful East Coast American dates, BAIN WOLFKIND, with the aid of longtime guitarist Albert Wolski, will be performing one their very rare Australian shows on June 9 at The Toff In Town. Also known for his work with Austrian martial industrial legends Der Blutharsch, the music of Bain Wolfkind could be described as a Lynchian take on artists such as Lee Hazlewood, with dark brooding vocals and a swampy amalgam of slow blues, rock and country with electronic overtones. Support from instrumental industrial/dark-wave outfit HEIRS, who will present a special audio/visual piece composed specifically for this event and MILES BROWN (The Night Terrors), ahead of his performance at Dark Mofo in Hobart, bringing his theremin lead dark minimalist electro and hyperactive space disco to the Toff stage. DJ Kate Fox (Requiem) will be spinning tunes into the night + giveaways from OSCL artists and visuals by Exotic Corpse.

I really don't think the issue is a few harmless 'nangs', but the fact that they were being handed out to audience members that may or may not be educated about the risks. A band like M83 doesn't want an audience member to have a stroke or even an asthma attack caused by an incident they have something to do with. These side affects are speculative, but even if there is a slight risk of a band on your bill causing somebody to have a reaction of any kind to something that as been distributed by an 'employee' of the touring party... you'd step as far away as possible..... and the way you have treated this as a means to 'get people on board' is pretty disgusting.

Last Heirs show before we head back to Europe, this Thursday at the Curtin.

Pre-orders of the Antique 10'' and CD have been sent. It will be available in stores next Friday, or at the show on Saturday.
