not gonna weigh in on this but can i say Cisco's House of Coffee in windsor is my place of choice for supplies. their espresso bean is real good, real good value.

just spoke to a client who said the bouncers wouldn't let her into the venue despite having a valid ticket (to see parliament/funkadelic). she was told there was ''only half an hour left'' of the set. there were a bunch of other punters outside they wouldn't let in either.

i guess you can't expect that a band with fairly rigorously produced recordings are going to be able to faithfully reproduce those songs live and still put over an engaging performance. sometimes it's awesome when an act kind of re-imagines songs for a live setting.

ditch the samples altogether and have some more people on stage

my thoughts exactly. i can't help but be distracted whenever a great band uses track, at least in an obvious way and especially when a human or 2 could do the same job and better. a glaring example of this was blonde redhead, on both their tours where i caught the show. i suppose a lot of tours now are run on a pretty tight budget though, even relatively big acts.

Stupid that you can't collect tix from venue before the show. Have to go into city before 5 to collect from box office to then go back 5 hours later.

amen to that. plus they still charge you a $7.45 ''service/delivery fee''.
