Already been in Barca a couple of days and so excited. Football tomorrow, Spectrum does Spacemen 3 Monday, Godflesh Tuesday, mystery band Wednesday and then the real fun starts!

Anyone had any experience procuring something to keep you going til 5 in the morn during the festival?

The Millerntor was an excellent experience but it really has become more commercialised. They should have beat the champions elect in Hertha Berlin but didn't take their chances. Probably my football highlight of Hamburg was drunkenly talking to a fireman on the reeperbahn who upon finding out I was an Australian football fan asked if I knew Thomas Broich. Proceeded to have a half hour conversation!

I really wanted to go to a Union Berlin match ilywhacker but theyre away this weekend. My options are Babelsburg, Dresden (who both have good fan reputations) or see Hertha again at the Olympiastadion. Probably go with Babelsburg.

This game on right now is boring and I can't wait for BVB to destroy Munich at Wembley

Absolutely. Just phenomenal. The German's know how to put on a football match, even UEFA's involvement (15,000 less capacity, no dudes coming around with tanks on their back filling up beers at your seat) didn't detract much. Lived up to all my expectations of Borussia's atmosphere and then some.

Off to see St Pauli on Sunday in the Bundesliga 2. Will be interesting to see how it compares.

I'm off to the game tomorrow night (don't even ask how much it cost to find a ticket). Will be interesting to see how BVB supporters react. Should be an incredible atmosphere regardless

Phwoar that PSG Barca game. Hope Messi's injury isn't bad for two selfish reasons. So I get to see him in May at Camp Nou and also so Barca have a better chance of making the final. If they do Primavera Sound stops for it which was apparently pretty incredible last time.

Bayern clearly didn't exert themselves too hard against Hamburg on the weekend.

Loved it, MrsG. Probably about the 7th time I've seen him and it was really nice to see such a unstructured show. Overheard a guy afterwards who had gone the night before and said it was 50% different material last night. Hopefully we get to see the finished product at some point too. Also glad that his beard is back.
