It's almost as if the reviewer wrote it for the sole reason of making the reader aware he knows who/what Fela Kuti and Full Circle are/is. Imagine that. In a record review.

i am very interested in this, particularly given that 'full circle' was called out as a reference - one of my favorite albums (jah wobble + half of can!)

When I read this along with the reference to Fela Kuti I got excited. Then I listened and it sounded like fucking Animal Collective. Fuck you, indie rock.
