It's exactly the same as weddings - do you really need to spend $50k on a wedding? No. Do people feel they have to? Yes, yes they do. Is much of it fuelled by fear of external perception? Hells yes it is. And behind it all is an industry that all too happy to stir the insecurities of people everywhere to feel like they will be a lesser human if they don't (insert service or product)

Saw the Castlereagh/Martin Place one (which doesn't look like it was on the map??) - a little underwhelming in person, just a laptop with audio plugged into a car sound system, video plugged into a project sitting on the dash. Sound wasn't very loud or anything.

Anyway, good/intriguing track.

New album is very lovely to listen to. Doesn't bring a whole lot more to the table than the previous three albums though - a lot lusher, nice to see someone brought their synth, the mixing is impeccable. But no revelations for me, yet...
