I did a search, couldn't find diddly, so I started this.
I think these are going to be:
Good:
Bad:
Astro Boy - would have liked to see it with people, not cartoons
Funny People - great cast, but story line looks limiting and Sandler needs to be replaced.
Just my opinion.
Also, I got lazy and my have mixed up the URLs.
Post your picks for good/bad upcomers. I want to hear what's going to be worth my $ at the cinemas.

racist.
gomorrah, out may 17
Some excellent new Australian films are 'comming' out too:
Samson and Delilah - out this week - five stars from both David and Margaret
My Year Without Sex - out 28 May- Sarah Watt's (Look Both Ways) newie, starring Sasha Horler and Matt Day
Lucky Country - out in July, I think - period western directed by Kriv Stenders, starring Aden Young (yum)
Balibo - later in 2009 - written by David Williamson and Robert Connolly, directed by Connolly. Really looking forward to this as I've read a lot about the Balibo Five tragedy (five Australian newsmen killed in East Timor in 1975) and the Australian govt's lack of inaction.
Nice to have some Oz films to get excited about.
a new street fighter movie? how does that shit even happen? i look forward to stumbling across it one sleepless night in 2013.
I really wanna see Samson and Delilah, my friend saw a preview screening and was raving.
It's fantastic, kaz - one of the best films I've seen in ages.
In other news, I really meant 'Australian gov'ts lack of action' re Balibo. Must be all that crack I've been smoking.
You had crack and you didn't share it with me?!?! For shame!
There is a bunch of Luis Bunuel films being shown this month as part of the Spanish Film Festival.
hey russians ....do you still have an ikea bookcase to get rid of?
i'd PM but my msg's don't seem to be workin'
I got your PM the other day and replied!
hmm... i didn't get your reply!
dammit
Are your srs? How weird! I'll do a test now. Stand by.
yup, serious!
Hey, Tupes! No, sorry, decided to keep it - it miraculously managed to fit into my new bedroom.
Sorry, poster, clearly crack habit is worse than first thought - note misplaced apostrophe in correction.
commits harakiri
i've taken to putting books, cd's and records in my kitchen cupboards
which kinda makes sense as i own 2 plates, 4 mugs, 3 glasses, 4 bowls.
LIVIN' LARGE!
Just try to see it as being like the intentional flaw in a perfect Persian carpet … or something.
Postergal - this Wednesday is the ''Danish Masters'' films:
Haxan: Whichcraft through the ages
The Master of the House
I'm hoping for it to be two creepy b+w satanic oogady-boogady type movies. Coffin Joe and all that...
Inglorious Basterds, new Tarantino
Anti-Christ, New Von Trier
In the loop was fantastic
I seriously cannot wait for the new ridley scott robin hood movie. I love that shit!
I concur...

Cumming Attractions.
Has anyone seen Dark Shadows? Is it worth seeing?
I'm curious about that as well^^^
good call on the misspelled threat title GB. ha
it looks terrible. i wish burton would attempt something that looks remotely challenging for him.
needs less Johnny Depp
I don't even have words for that.
Sex Magic that is
i was just bemused when i saw that tim burton trailer, looks like such a pissweak story, i'm sure i'm not being nostalgic when i say children's films in the 90s had a higher standard. these days they just don't have the same oomph, but maybe i'm just being cynical...looking forward to sex magic however.
The trailer doesn't make it look very good but then I remembered that some other Tim Burton films that had bad trailers (Sweeny Todd, Mars Attacks) turned out to be OK films.
Sleepy Hollow was the last Burton film I actually enjoyed. He obviously needs to team up with Christina Ricci and/or Christopher Walken again.
I wanna go to the midnight screening of Prometheus - although if it's a bit shit I imagine that will magnify the disappointment.
GRANTLEY, HEY GRANTLEY
OVER HERE
Cheers, wooly, I did see that... looks like I'll be making the long trek to Carlton in June.
starts preparing survival kit
I will also be making the not-so-long trek to Nova. Fucken excited. The last good horror I saw in a cinema was The Woman. Have you seen that?
No! Thanks for the reminder, it had slipped off my mental ''movies to 'acquire' somehow'' list! :)
it's AWESOME
midnight screening of cabin in the woods at cinema nova on sun 10 jun.
that's awesome. i'm there.
June 2012
