FTFY.

Also, do they sound like Minutemen at all?

mindspray  said about 2 years ago:

They sound like 3 Auckland kids with trucker arm who survive on a diet of V and Smiths chips.

Velodrone  said about 2 years ago:

That's not a very good description, but I like No Action and Sparkspitter, so I'll probably come along.

I was asking because of them being named after a Minutemen song.

firewitch  said about 2 years ago:

These guys are great. Have an albini element but in a progressive way, not in a ''oh you worship albini'' kinda way. Awesome drummer.

Velodrone  said about 2 years ago:

My interest has been piqued further.

SWORDS were a ''oh you worship albini'' band. I'm okay with that though.

Velodrone  said about 2 years ago:

I just went to their bandcamp.

I like the name of the song ''Details on How To Get DONCAB On Your License Plate''. It makes the math-rock nerd in me laugh.

Velodrone  said about 2 years ago:

Yeah, I'll go to this. It's a 10 minute ride from my house, no doubt free to get in and I might find a new band to like.

mindspray  said about 2 years ago:

You'll love them. Talk to the guys too. Really, really active and friendly guys. Know the NZ scene well and book a mean tour.

Tonight at Gasometer

April 14th - Melbourne - Gasometer
w/ On Sierra, El Alamein and Jess Locke

you young whipper snappers won't remember this band but El Alamein sounds a right at home with Marian Delgado
