break my heart.
all i wanted to do today was listen to your hand in mine
and cry
played a track off the new album. track #3... was 13 minutes plus and epic
:)

sux
I'M GONNA SEE THEM!
when?
it really shat me when they used that thin red line sample in one of their songs. i never got over it.
coachella, end of april
the last track on the new album "so long lonesome" is so beautiful.
When the drums kick in at the end in nearly brings me to tears everytime I hear it.
anok - you don't have to love them, but they will always remind me of this time in my life when i had just bought the second album and i went on a little day trip to burntisland just north of edinburgh and walked around with this amazing album playing on my discman while i looked out at the great grey ocean and watched the seabirds swirling and tottering about
i needed that day and i loved that record
and then a few days later i saw them live in glasgow
... hence whosgotthecrack? + explosionsinthesky = love
i love them, wgtc - your hand in mine, first breath after coma, the only moment we were alone all are mind-blowingly beautiful. to me, they're like a more obvious mogwai.
but then sometimes i don't want that heavy scots malaise hanging over everything.
i almost saw 'friday night lights' just to hear the soundtrack...
gave my copy to infinland... he loves this stuff.
have you got the first album nicko?
I loved that as well...
i have got to get the new album soon
i used to love them. now i'm not so sure.
i'm quite keen to hear the new album.
i found them rather boring and unimaginative live. i prefer them on cd.
those who tell the truth... is beautiful. the earth... lost its sheen after some time.
I would've given it to you if I'd known, WGTC!
switchy - giver of great albums.
adam - track three on the newie is pretty bloody good
classic explosions
aww switchie, that's okay, you can give it to me for my birthday! ;) hehe

GREAT show tonight. I think I'm missing a couple.
The Only Moment We Were Alone
Last Known Surroundings
Catastrophe and the Cure
Postcard From 1952
Greet Death
Your Hand in Mine
Let Me Back In
The Birth and Death of the Day
TEXAS FOREVER!!
Good show! I like how they play flat out for an hour and a half or so with little to no break between songs, and then they are gone
I think they played First Breath after Coma?
Yeah, think so too.
Great show and totally agree about going non stop and then not pissing around with an encore.
No First Breath After Coma.
After The Birth and Death of the Day
Yasmin the Light (face melting)
The Moon is Down (I think)
My favourite wasn't played... but eh. can't play them all, and i got to see them two nights in a row so i'm pretty fucking happy.
Your Hand in Mine = Bliss.
I shot it for FL in Sydney last night. Was a pretty amazing show.
Photos here
Fairly positive they did play YHIM in Melbourne
They were fucking incredible in Brisbane last night.
I don't think they did, but I'm a forgetful fuck. And some of their songs sound a little same-y, let's be honest...
(I love 'em lots, though)
They were brilliant at The Forum, a venue that can often sound shit/be hard to fill with your 'presence' if you have none (hi, Best Coast!)
And they were all playing cheapy guitars and using really simple effects.
No substitute for good playing.
Secret gig at the Great Northern in Byron Bay before Splendour
Their new film clip is a genuine work of fucking art.
link pls arthurly?
